The Chapel on The Corner: The Making of a Wedding Venue
Back in October 2017, the team at The Vow Exchange Events broke ground on a new wedding venue! The beautiful corner spot in the Historic Heritage Hall building was once a Mexican Restaurant in it’s former life. At the time it was perhaps the furthest thing from a wedding chapel, but it had so much raw potential with its wall to wall 12 foot arched windows and it's 1920's vintage roots.
Roughly 6 months later, the doors to The Chapel on the Corner officially opened and the venue was “broken in” by the sweetest couple! See the journey The Vow Exchange Team took by checking out some of our favorite before and after pics below.
You will be blown away by the “HGTV style” make over!
The Chapel Altar - This is where the magic happens!
The team replaced the fluorescents with skyscraper pendants, installed a dramatic vintage chandelier, and hung dreamy curtains. It’s now the perfect backdrop for saying “I Do”!
The Main Space - In all it’s glory.
The airy white room just glows with natural sunlight. Subtle mint green and glamorous copper accents transform this room from “Mexican Fiesta” To “Elegant 20’s Wedding Chapel”.
The Main Wall - This One was a real fixer-upper.
It is now complete with wooden wall tables and copper bar stools. Our favorite part is the magnetic (yes, magnetic!) copper couple’s initials.
the bridal lounge - take a peak inside!
The bridal lounge has custom sliding wood door with frosted glass for privacy. Complete with a vintage vanity, the bride can put on her dress & any final touches before making her grand entrance.
Let the weddings begin!
Here’s to all the couples who choose to begin their happily ever after at The Chapel on the Corner.
