VENUE SET UP
Party rentals at our venues are set up “Chapel Style” with rows of guest chairs, a center aisle & an “altar” area for a ceremony OR “Party Style” with a main table for food, a table for setting up beverages, a table for setting up a cake, guest dining tables with seating for 12 guests, lounge seating for 24 guests & bar tables. Before the start of every event, each candle is lit, the chalkboard is customized with your names and your first initials are displayed. Couples interested in bringing food & drinks with a chapel style set up will have use of our hallway buffet and drink cart for setting up, however space is limited. This rental type can not accommodate a room flip from chapel to party style without booking a Coordinated Reception Package with Cakewalk Events.
ARRIVAL
The event host who has booked the rental can simply arrive at the venue at the event start time & begin setting up their party. Hosts are welcome to pull their car up to the front door to unload items for their event (food, equipment, etc.) and then can move their car to the venue’s designated parking lot. Additionally, arriving guests may park in the same venue designated lot.
ADDITIONAL DECOR & OTHER ITEMS
Since this event rental includes more time, the host may bring whatever food or decor they would like to set up providing the existing venue decor is not removed or altered in any way. We do not allow tossables such as flower petals, confetti, bubbles as they make our floors slick and unsafe. Outside beverages are also allowed, however, you must provide disposable cups and ice, if applicable.
VENUE CAPACITY & EXTRA GUESTS
The Vow Exchange Chapel can accommodate up to 50 guests for a party rental. The venue is very intimate by design. For this reason we can not accommodate extra guests without creating a space too crowded to move. In short, please do not invite more than the venue can accommodate as it can make for an uncomfortable situation when guests can not find a seat or get to the bathroom.
FURRY GUESTS
Although we are big pet lovers at The Vow Exchange, our buildings have a no pets policy, mainly due to insurance reasons.
