CHAPEL SET UP
Chapel rentals at our venues are set up “Chapel Style” with rows of guest chairs, a center aisle & an “altar” area for a ceremony. Before the start of every event, each candle is lit, the chalkboard is customized with your names and your first initials are displayed.
COUPLE’S ARRIVAL
Brides can simply arrive at the venue at the event start time & settle in our adorable bridal lounge (accessed through the unlocked back entrance). Most brides come with their hair & makeup done then change into their dress & complete final touches (alongside their girls) in the private bridal lounge.
We don't have a groom's lounge so we recommend he come dressed and ready. Usually the groom enters the venue through the main entrance & mingles with the guests as the bride gets ready.
GUESTS’ ARRIVAL
Arriving guests may park in the chapel’s designated lot. Once in our space, guests are welcome to take a celebratory flag to wave for the couple at the conclusion of their ceremony. As our seating area is small and intimate so no designated sides or seating charts are necessary.
ADDITIONAL DECOR & OTHER ITEMS
As our events are brief, we do not allow further decoration of the space nor do we allow tossables such as flower petals, confetti, bubbles or large flower arrangements. We do however welcome you to bring personal flowers such as bouquets, boutonnieres etc. Additionally you may bring a couple of framed photos, a guest book or a sign requesting an “Unplugged Ceremony” if you would like. Couples are invited to bring a single serve food item (such as cupcakes) or outside beverages. However, you must provide disposable cups (and ice, if applicable).
CHAPEL CAPACITY & EXTRA GUESTS
Our chapel is arranged with seating for up to 50 guests. The venue is very intimate by design. For this reason we can not accommodate extra guests standing or otherwise without blocking walkways for your photographer and other guests. In short, please do not invite more than the venue can accommodate as it can make for an uncomfortable situation when there is literally nowhere for your extra guests to go.
FURRY GUESTS
Although we are big pet lovers at The Vow Exchange, our building has a no pets policy, mainly due to insurance reasons.
